Mano Po

In the Filipino culture, all who are considered or who are younger than others must do this specific gesture when confronting a Filipino elder. We call this gesture "bless" or "mano po". The phrase mano po comes from mano, the Spanish word for hand, and po which is placed at the end of sentences as a sign of respect when addressing someone older than you. So that entire phrase literally translates to "your hand please". You do this by taking an elders hand (it is usually the right one) and place their hand on your forehead. This symbolizes the idea of the elder giving you blessings.
